Create custom fields
You can create custom fields such as an anniversary, children's names, or whatever information you find useful to associate with a single customer. This information does not appear on the invoices you send to customers, but is only visible on invoices within Billing Manager and in the Contact record in your Address Book.
To create a custom field, follow these steps.
- As you are creating an invoice, click Add custom field.
- Click the Field drop-down and select an existing value, or choose Other.
- If you choose Other, click the Type drop-down and choose a format (Date, E-Mail, Money, Text, Number).
- Make an entry in the Value field.
