Import and Export Contacts
You can import or export contacts to other programs.
Import contacts from Outlook/Outlook Express
To import contacts from Outlook/Outlook Express, follow these steps:
- In Outlook/Outlook Express, go to the Contacts folder.
- Go to the File menu, and then click Import/Export.
- Select Export to a file.
- Select the option to export to Comma Separated Values (CSV) format.
- In Billing Manager, click Import Your Contacts, click Browse to locate the CSV file you exported from Outlook, and then click Import.
Export contacts to a CSV file
You can export your contacts to a comma-separated values (CSV) file. Just go to My Address Book, and then click Export Your Contacts and follow the onscreen instructions.
Export contacts to your QuickBooks Online account
If you have a QuickBooks Online account, you can export your contacts to that application. Click the "Find out how" link to learn about how this process works, to sign up for QuickBooks Online if you don't already have an account, to set up a connection between Billing Manager and QuickBooks Online so you can share data between the two applications, and to check your connection status. Just follow the instructions onscreen.
