Tag customers

Tags are a free-form way of categorizing a group of customers who share similar characteristics. For example, you could assign a tag to a group of customer who receive a weekly service from you, or who share a similar interest, or who are high-value customers, or who live in a certain area. A single customer might have multiple tags (holiday card, high-value customer, golfer, etc.) Tags can be useful when you want to, for example, target a group of similar customers (say, golfers), with a new product or service.

The tags you enter appear under My Address Book in the left navigation panel. Click a tag name to see all the customers who share that tag.

Note: To record unique information specific to a single customer (such as a birthday), you can create custom fields.
